Not allowed
- Scams or fraudulent offers
- Phishing, malware or credential theft
- Impersonation of players, moderators, Valve or Steam representatives
- Harassment or hate speech
- Illegal content
- Spam or deceptive links
- Gambling promotions or chance-based wagering offers
- Account selling or stolen-account activity
Safety first
Do not ask another person for passwords, Steam Guard codes, recovery codes or item transfers for “verification.” Keep links transparent and describe trades accurately.
Educational use
Community participation should help people understand TF2 mechanics, items, trading terminology and security practices without misleading claims or pressure.
